WHO WE ARE

We are Olga & Katherine, a duo of friends, founders of Wild&Grace. We live for special moments and epic locations with amazing people, always chasing beautiful light and looking out for little details that make wedding days so unique. We want to share how we went from shooting ordinary weddings to those that make our hearts full, to clients that value our work.

Finding your spot in such a saturated market as wedding photography could be overwhelming and often frustrating, we’ll talk about how to stop comparing your work with others and stand out from the crowd.

We also believe that being inspired and staying curious hence enthusiastic can push you for creative and professional growth. Our mission is to help you fall in love with what you do again.

GUEST MENTORS

We are so excited to have our friends and industry leaders to come along and share their knowledge + give us a hand at live shoots and portfolio reviews.

Jai Long / Free The Bird

Jai Long is a creative entrepreneur, educator and mastermind behind Free The Bird Photography and Free The Bird Workshop. He also runs online courses, a Podcast and many other resources to help photographers with their creative business.

Jai’s mission is to give creative entrepreneurs a chance to take control of their business, help feel less overwhelmed, and allow them to design their own future.

Joel Alston, Barefoot&Bearded

Barefoot, bearded and wildly talented – Joel Alston is a destination and elopement photographer with a penchant for the unusual and unconventional.
Craving adventure and authenticity in his work, Joel travels worldwide to capture wild and intimate images that flip the classic idea of wedding photography on it’s head. Rugged mountains, sheer cliff faces, icy valleys and towering forests – the landscapes Joel is attracted to, but it’s the couples unique connections he captures, the moments of raw love and emotion that come to the forefront of these amazing images and send the landscapes to the background.

Charlotte Kiri

Charlotte Kiri is an award winning wedding photographer based under the mountains of Wanaka and Queenstown. A former professional snowboarder, Charlotte brings her love of the mountains, adventurous spirit and cheeky sense of humour to her work. Going onto build a successful brand within 3 wedding seasons, Charlotte has a lot to share about her journey as a wedding photographer and how to capture EPIC wedding photography in an alpine setting.

Samantha Gerard / Wild Hearts Wedding Fairs

Lover of all things wild, Samantha founded Wild Hearts in 2015 alongside a group of local creatives in Nelson. With a passion for dreaming big and a vision to create a community of like-minded industry leaders, Samantha has grown Wild Hearts into the well-known brand it is today. A stylist by trade, she is also the creative-soul behind all of our Wild Hearts campaigns and you will find her work featured in  Together journal, Hello May and The Lane.

We are so lucky to have Samantha as a stylist for our live shoots. Plus she’ll share her insights on how to create successful submissions and get published by magazines.
