06 Jul Logan + Olga Chic Urban Auckland Wedding

We were so privileged to be a part of this beautiful celebration. Meet Logan and Olga our beyond gorgeous couple. They have decided on a small and very intimate winter wedding with only their families and a few friends invited. Winter weddings could be a challenge for some couples as we have a rain season here in New Zealand and chances of a wet day are very high. We have prepared a plan (A, B and C) and went on a location scouting across the city just before the wedding day. That helped us to get some very stunning images despite the wettest day in months and also keep our couple as relaxed as possible.

Our day started at Heritage Hotel Auckland where our bride was getting ready. We did some preparation shots and moved to another hotel wing to get a few snaps of the groom.

 

We loved the groom’s room interior, so classy! We are so in love with these photos (and we received a lot of compliments from the Mister himself about them). Yay!

 

It was time to rush to the church. Logan is from France and his father couldn’t be at his wedding. They had a skype call just before the bride arrived.

 

And here comes the bride!

 

 

 

After the group shots we took the newlyweds to Auckland Art Gallery for a few shots under covers.

 

Those transparent umbrellas are very cute on the photos.

 

And just before the reception rain decided to stop for a few minutes and we couldn’t miss a chance to get some cool shots on the street.

 

Reception was rather casual with some speeches and of course cake cutting.
