A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP
to feed your soul with good stuff & awaken your inner creative
West Coast, Auckland
14-16 October 2019

Find Your Wild is a two day workshop for wedding photographers designed to inspire and refresh before the new wedding season. Intimate and immersive, the workshop offers the opportunity to grow both creatively and strategically, through small group learning, live shoots and one-to-one sessions.

During two full days we’ll bring you a perfect mix of learning and inspiration, while still having time to relax and fill your heart with fresh ideas and new connections. All this in a beautiful and comfortable lodge, with good food, wine and great company of like minded people.

We’re excited for you to join us!

Take your craft to where you dream it could be

The workshop dives deep into the creative side of wedding photography, we’ll explore why we do what we do, talk about finding your voice and defining your vision, and how to translate that creative passion to your audience, turning them into your ideal clients. We’ll talk about emotional aspects of our craft, psychology of relationship with clients, about building trust with couples and  getting them relaxed and connected during photo shoots. Then we’ll move into the technical aspects of shooting, such as locations and lighting, followed by marketing and workflow tips and tricks. We’ll have an editing session where we’ll show our post-production workflow.

You will also take part in two portfolio building sessions with real couples: engagement and styled elopement shoots on the stunning west coast of Auckland. We’ll show how we find locations, the best light and how we work with the couple and capture those natural moments. Everyone will have a chance to direct the couple individually. This is an opportunity to create some amazing images for your portfolio.

You can expect a lot of honesty, new tricks and lots of tips on how to improve your business, editing or shooting techniques. We aim to get you inspired, refreshed and ready to take your craft to the next level.

The Speakers

We are Olga & Katherine, a duo of friends, founders of Wild&Grace. After years of capturing couples in love we are finally ready to share our experience and knowledge, give you those practical skills and tips that took us a lot of time to learn and gather. Running our business together we’ve learnt so much about the importance of proper communication which leads to a connection with your client.  We want to share how we went from shooting ordinary weddings to those that make our hearts full, to clients that value our work.

Finding your spot in such a saturated market as wedding photography could be overwhelming and often frustrating, we’ll talk about how to stop comparing your work with others and stand out from the crowd.

We also believe that being inspired and staying curious hence enthusiastic can push you for creative and professional growth. Our mission is to help you fall in love with what you do again.
